Our team

Mark completed his business degree at Curtin University in 1984 and has been working in public practice since in 1985. He is a tax gun specialising in tax planning and advice for small business. He also manages our company registers and trust deeds.

Just to prove that not all Accountants are boring he also spent a year training horses in Ireland.

Mark enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Aby, and their dogs Gustav & Lennie.



He enjoys camping and fishing and is a long-suffering Fremantle Dockers supporter. 

Shane attended Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School and received his degree from ECU in 1996. He started working as an accountant in 1997. Shane specialises in Small Business Enterprises, trusts, companies, including administration of self managed superannuation funds.



Shane spends his time outside of work with his wife, son and daughter. He loves his football, playing guitar, and four-wheel driving.

Fiona started her accounting career in 1998. She went to Busselton Senior High School and received her double major from ECU in 2000, graduating with the highest academic result in the Bachelor of Business and Accounting. Fiona completed the Chartered Accountants Program in 2004 and has been working at the firm since then with a few breaks for travel and maternity leave. She is kept busy with her three sons and enjoys being in the outdoors with her boys and husband. 

Fiona is in the office on Tuesday to Thursday.

Lauren has been working at the firm since May 2007 and completed her Bachelor of Business degree at Edith Cowan University in June 2014, graduating top of her class in both Accounting & Public Practice majors. Lauren completed her Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualifications in 2017. 



Lauren enjoys an array of ocean-based activities including open water swimming and diving. She enjoys spending time with her partner Jeremy and their Australian Shepherd Jack. 

Felicia joined the Sargent's team in 2015 as an Accountant. She completed her Advanced Diploma in Accounting in 2009 at Bunbury Regional TAFE. Her specialties include Xero, MYOB, Accounting, Taxation & GST.



Felicia has lived in Busselton for over 20 years & in her spare time she enjoys hanging out at the beach with her husband and Kelpie.

Carly is your first point of contact and takes care of the day-to-day administration of the firm and enjoys keeping things organised in the office. Carly started working for us in 2001, in the administrator's role. 



Carly and her husband Jamie have two kids, Emily and Lucas. They love fishing, footy & cricket and getting outdoors and exploring whenever they can.
